The issues we treat include everything from marital and family relationship difficulties to dealing with loss and grief. We have extensive experience in counselling patients with mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, as well as bipolar personality disorders, learning disorders, dementia, and more.
We also have experience in treating and helping patients cope with a range of cognitive and behavioural problems stemming from physical injuries and conditions such as stroke, neurological disease, and epilepsy.
A leading principle in our practice is cultural sensitivity, which includes respecting each patient’s worldview, background, gender identity, perception of self, and personal, religious, and spiritual beliefs.
Our psychology and counselling services in Leichhardt help individuals, couples, and families work on issues such as:
Management of stress, anxiety, and depression.
Anger management and other behavioural issues.
