How to Access Funded Psychology
Step-by-step (WorkCover / CTP in NSW)
-
Book your first session: No approval needed — you can make this appointment now.
-
See your GP: Your GP will issue a WorkCover certificate or CTP referral recommending psychology.
-
After your first session: Your psychologist submits a treatment request (AHRR) to the insurer for ongoing sessions.
-
Insurer approval: The insurer then confirms the number of funded sessions.
