The role offers a steady referral stream, full administrative support, and the opportunity to focus on high-quality assessment, formulation, and evidence-based intervention within a well-governed clinical environment. Session blocks are agreed collaboratively and may include morning, afternoon, or after-school availability.

Where does it sit in the practice?

This role sits within the core child, adolescent, and family services of iflow Psychology’s Gladesville clinic.


Clinicians in this role contribute to key service offerings including cognitive, educational, and developmental assessment, as well as therapeutic intervention informed by developmental and systemic understanding. Opportunities exist to develop specific clinical interests within competence (e.g. learning difficulties, ADHD, ASD, emotional regulation, school-related presentations).


You will work alongside experienced psychologists within a structured, supportive practice framework, while maintaining independence as a contractor.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct cognitive, educational, and developmental assessments

  • Provide developmentally informed psychological intervention

  • Prepare clear, professional assessment reports

  • Engage in parent consultations and guidance

  • Liaise with schools and other professionals where appropriate

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and correspondence

  • Participate in supervision and continuing professional development

  • Uphold privacy, informed consent, cultural safety, and AHPRA/APS ethical standards

What You’ll Need

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist

  • Higher Endorsement in Educational & Developmental Psychology

  • Strong assessment, formulation, and report-writing skills

  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families

  • Clear, professional written communication skills

  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance

  • Working With Children Check

  • National Criminal History Check

  • Medicare Provider Number (or eligibility)

  • ABN for contracting
