Neuropsychologists in this role contribute to comprehensive assessment services and may develop areas of focus within competence (e.g. acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, cognitive change, attention and executive functioning, memory disorders, capacity-related assessments where appropriate).


You will work alongside experienced psychologists within a structured, supportive practice framework, while maintaining independence as a contractor.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments

  • Administer, score, and interpret standardised cognitive measures

  • Prepare clear, structured, and defensible neuropsychological reports

  • Provide feedback to clients and referrers as appropriate

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

  • Collaborate with referrers and other professionals where required

  • Participate in supervision and continuing professional development

  • Uphold privacy, informed consent, cultural safety, and AHPRA/APS ethical standards

What You’ll Need

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist

  • Higher Endorsement in Neuropsychology

  • Strong assessment, interpretation, and report-writing skills

  • Experience conducting neuropsychological assessments

  • Clear, professional written communication skills

  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance

  • Working With Children Check (if applicable)

  • National Criminal History Check

  • Medicare Provider Number (or eligibility, where applicable)

  • ABN for contracting
